I've been busy recently...

I've been sewing quite a lot of stuff recently, but have also been experimenting with with other crafty bits and pieces to see if I can use any my wedding later in the year.

One such experiment was taken from Threadbanger 'decor it yourself' and Zakka Life:

Pretty!

Huggies

I drink coffee - a lot! So I LOVE these coffee cup holders!

I dont really have many 'manly' materials so I made Phils out of an old surfing T-shirt. They are still a bit rough around the edges but I've already had loads of comments about them so may invest in a bit more practice on these!

My newest thing - Baby Bunting!!!

Pretty isnt it!

Pot holder things...

Have discovered the joys of using scraps for stuff. Been making some pot holders (if thats what you'd call them!?!) Been using them as pot stands and oven gloves. So much better than anything else I've used in the past.

Made them by patchworking scraps together, cutting circles of the patchwork and layering it with fleece (bought from a local charity shop) and a circle of very think cotton underneath. Pinned all the layers together, whacked a layer of bias tape aorund the outside and stiched together. So easy!

Bags, bags and more bags

Been making a lot of foldable shopping bags/ book bags for friends and family:

No.1

No.2

No. 3

They hold up much better than my first attempt too - thicker cotton!

Button Mania

I also seem to have been making a lot of badges/ buttons recently...
