So I’m in full swing preparing for my first ever stall at my sisters fete in a few weeks. I have a huge list of things to make – some that I’ve made before, some that I haven’t.
One of my newest makes has been a camera pouch. I needed one for the ‘fun’ camera Mr T bought me for my birthday, so I came up with this…
I love it – especially the stripes and cool beige against the red (cute camera too eh!). It was pretty simple to make up – just an outer layer of linen, a felt lining for a teensy bit of protection and a cotton print inner layer. I liked it so much that I decided to make a few more – 25 to be exact. I did a variety of sizes for ipods, cameras and phones!
It will be interesting to see what sells. Have any of you sold anything anywhere? What has worked for you? What are your big sellers?
Anyway, I’ve got a ton of other projects to plough on through so I’d best get on. For more crafty and creative projects pop on over to Our Creative Spaces. Its always well worth a visit!
It's so funny we're at the same stage :-) Those pouches look lovely - love the stripey contrast against the linen - great idea.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting for you!!! They look great... love the stripes :)
ReplyDeleteI think the camera pouch is a fab idea and I would absolutely buy one! Good luck at the stall - it must be nerve wracking but so much fun at the same time. I'll be sure to pop back to see how you went. x
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea! They look fantastic. Good luck at the fete! K
ReplyDeletethis is gorgeous....practical and stylish! Best wishes for the fete!
ReplyDeleteThey look lovely. I haven't done any market stalls, but it's definitely something I am aiming to do in the future.
ReplyDeleteGood luck at the fete :)
Love the look of that linen!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful camera bag! I need to make myself one of those - seem to have misplaced the one I got with the camera...
ReplyDeleteGood luck at your stall. I sold all sorts of things at a stall I had with my friend who did papercrafting. We could never tell what would sell. I had a heap of fun furry pencil cases made up - and sold none at all for months despite lots of "oohs and ahhs and aren't they lovely's!" then one week I sold 8 of them one after the other in the space of a few hours!! You never can tell who's going to come along and what they might buy!
Hope you sell lots!!

ReplyDeleteGlad you like the pouch. Its all a complete mystery to me at the moment so I'm looking forward to it. Any yes emily its more likely to be a table than a 'stall'. :-) All good practice. I'll let you know how it goes.
