Decisions

I'm making up a few heart garlands but I can't make up my mind how to do them....

...do I do the stitching on the inside and make overstuffed hearts (picture left) or do I leave the crimping and stitching on the outside (picture right)? I really can't make up my mind. I quite like the detail of the one on the right but don't know if it just looks unfinished.

Then there's how to hold the garland together. At the moment I've gone for loops and plan to string them onto a ribbon, but am thinking that maybe sewing a connecting ribbon into the hearts might be the way to go.

Anyone else got thoughts on the matter? I could be easily swayed at this point! :-)

  1. That's a hard one, I loved the inside seam, over stuffed heart but the outside seam is such a great look too. Maybe you will have to do two ;)

    1. Ah thanks Jessi. The hair things went well in the end. My sister really liked them. I meant to post about them AGES ago. Thank you for the reminder. I'll do that this week! :-)
